Here is a sample of my step 2. I have completed about half of the step 2 units. I started them even though I only have about 1/3 of the step 1 units done - Thanksgiving got in the way of step 1. These are the aqua/turquoise units.
Love your color choices, they sound a lot like mine, though I am using hot pink instead of orange as a substitute for the red. I think it will be a bright and happy quilt.
