Bonnie Hunter Orca Bay Mystery Step 2

Here is a sample of my step 2.  I have completed about half of the step 2 units.  I started them even though I only have about 1/3 of the step 1 units done - Thanksgiving got in the way of step 1.  These are the aqua/turquoise units.

I decided to start this mystery - even though I have numerous other quilts under construction.I am going to use orange (instead of red), aqua/turquoise (instead of blue), purple (instead of black) and neutrals.  My first step is purple and neutral.I realize that it may be too 'hot' for my taste when I am done but I decided to stretch my color selection anyway.
